The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ may be the company's most competitive tablets to date, but they also raise questions about what Samsung has planned for its next-generation slates.
The Tab S8 Ultra from Samsung is shaping up to be one of those new devices we asked for on the Android OS. This is why rumors surrounding this device have been making impressive headlines, as we've learned that it's going to be larger than the Tab S7. Even more interesting about this new device is that its display front suggests that Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will come with a notch. We have not seen a notch on any prior Samsung Tab lines, and it's also interesting to note that it will be similar to the Apple MacBook notch.
Because of their usefulness, modern tablets have proven to be quite beneficial during the pandemic. Tablets software and hardware are more suitable than ever for intensive tasks and workflows. After considering all of this, it should be expected that manufacturers will release even more powerful devices in the future. Based on current leaks, Samsung's upcoming Tab S8 Ultra is shaping up as one of those devices.
New leak tablet renders from leaker @OnLeaks revealed new tablet images. The new renders show an odd camera notched area that appears to have no other sensors. Except for an ugly notch, the pictures show very slim bezels all around. Because the bezels were too thin to accommodate the camera, Samsung may have had to go with this notched design. The render Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display.
The notch might be more acceptable if Samsung makes its device settings more flexible. I'm not sure if reducing the bezels to the extent that necessitates a notch was a good idea. On tablets, it's typically better to use slightly thicker bezels since they provide more space for gripping and avoid unintended touches.
The latest leaks of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra make the tablet worth getting if you work with complex projects regularly. The Galaxy Tab S8 family may include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898, according to prior rumors, or the Exynos 2200 processor in the Tab S8 Ultra. As leaked by (@UniverseIce), Tab S8 + will be released with S22. SM8450, One UI 4, and 10090mAh battery.
The source claims that the renders lack any magnetic pins S Pen since they aren't "100% finished." Furthermore, with dimensions of 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4mm, the device is expected to be slightly taller and thinner than the Samsung Tab S7+. The tablet's back follows the Samsung Galaxy S7's design, having a pill-shaped dual-camera and a contrasting magnetic strip for the S Pen.
Samsung's Tab S8, according to Zouton, is sufficiently "enhanced" that Samsung will charge around $840 for it, nearly $200 more than the S7 cost. Unless the Snapdragon 888 (or 898) adds a significant performance boost, that price appears excessive and raises questions about how much more Samsung will charge for the Tab S8+ and the Tab S8 Ultra. According to rumored reports, in January or February 2022, the Galaxy Tab S8 will undoubtedly be one of the best Android tablets available when it launches. But we can only hope Samsung does not intend to charge so much for what appears to be a modest improvement.
